Dear Tumblr,
Growing up in a world so overly corrupted run by social media sites (and yes I have an account in most of them), I’ve always wondered why I never got into blogging???
Perhaps it’s because I don’t feel like there is anything that really distinguishes me from the millions and millions of people out there who already have mastered the technique of blogging and have a massive following to show for it.
Maybe it’s due to the fact that I never really was a good diary keeper…
Keeping a diary always felt like a waste of time; to put my feelings onto a piece of paper that was supposed to be private but my mom and/or sister would end up reading it anyways! Bitches! =p
I’m not creative (or artistic) in any one thing, so I won’t be posting pictures of drawings that don’t exist unless you count X-Rated Stick Figures as art.
I’m also not trying to start my own business, but am always willing to sell my hand knitted scarves (though I still haven’t mastered knitting without the assistance of a loom, so you’re stuck with one style!)
And finally, I can promise you that this blog will not turn into a site where I talk about diet and fitness plans - haha that’ll be the day!
I guess my main reason for starting this Tumblr account is to put into words some of the crazy moments I’ve experienced in the 27 years of my existence; and will continue to experience for the rest of the days I have left on this Earth (according to the Mayans, we all only have 153 days - LIVE IT UP!)
In the end though, everything I’ve been through has helped shape me into the woman I am today and I really wouldn’t change any of it!
So really, who knows what writing this blog could turn in to. I’m not looking for hundreds of people to follow me, it would be cool, but I don’t expect it at all! Though maybe one day the right person will see my blog and I’ll be approached to write a book about myself or asked to be a celebrity gossip columnist (DREAM JOB! Though, just for the record, I hate gossip - unless it’s factual!)
